If you are interested in submitting a session for CHAOSScon on September 12 in Dublin, Ireland, please send that to us on or before May 30, 2022. We are looking for a variety of topics, including:
- metrics strategy
- deep dive into the use of metrics
- failure of metrics in practice
- lessons learned, use cases, and case studies
- proposals for new metrics
- new visualizations
We are also looking for a few different formats and presentation styles such as tutorials, walkthroughs, lightning talks, and regular sessions. We are accepting submissions for virtual and in-person talks, and you can submit your abstract through Google Forms.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Join Our Maintainer Burnout Session on June 17
As part of GitHub’s Maintainer Month (June), CHAOSS is hosting a one-hour interactive workshop on Maintainer Burnout. This will be on June 17, 2022 at 12pm US Central/Chicago time.
Burnout is a relatable issue, almost everyone has been there– and it’s something we see quite often in open source. CHAOSS is hosting an interactive working group session to understand how maintainers manage burnout and talk about how to facilitate conversations about burnout and mental health in their open source communities. We will also discuss the Project Burnout metric from our DEI working group.
